Who am I?

What’s my background?

All perfectly reasonable questions. I wouldn’t want to put my trust in somebody I didn’t know anything about, and neither should you!

So who is Dave Offen?

I am a regular guy, with a regular family, who lives in a regular house in East Sussex on the South Coast of England. I am married to Jenni and we have two wonderful kids, a girl and a boy.

And I am a bit more than just an online marketer. I do have other interests!

I love spending time with my family exploring the south east of England. I love sport, especially football (soccer), and have been going the Arsenal for donkeys years (though with children it’s not as often as I would have liked). And I really relax by going fishing on our local beaches – mostly for Bass in the summer and Cod in the colder months. Oh yeah, I just bought a little boat to, so I am getting that ready for the spring when I will start doing a bit of boat fishing too! I am in to rock music, and like to read thrillers (especial Clancy and Cussler). And my favourite foods are pretty much any seafood, but I absolutely LOVE Thai food!

What’s my background?

I left school in 1982, with no knowledge of computers at all. Suprising then that my first job was shift work on IBM mainframe computers! So I started just about the time of the PC revolution. And after a while, the company I worked for being very progressive, started investing in intranets – with nobody there with any knowledge of web design or development, I stepped in and built my first intranet pages. Of course, things moved on and I took various jobs in web development and those progressed into online marketing.

In a nutshell, I have worked with computers since 1982 and online since the early 90s!

I finallly made the jump to working online FOR MYSELF after I did a load of SEO work, spent under £1,500 on Google Adwords, brought in over £2.6 MILION in business for the company I worked for, and was offered a TINY bonus. I figured I had had enough of lining other people’s pockets, answering to them, putting up with all the politics of corporate life. Instead, I’d work for MYSELF!

So I studied and studied online marketing and amassed a wealth of information about topics ranging from list building to niche research, to SEO, copy writing and a whole load more. And I started making money. Quite a bit of money!

But some of the stuff I learnt didn’t sit right with me. So I decided that rather than working hard to make myself money, I would work hard to make other people money. And that is what I am now striving to do.

Hey, I’ll be straight with you here. i am more than happy to help make people rich. Why? because iut will in turn help make me wealthy. Both financially and spiritually!
